How long have you been doing the Hustle and Juggle?
I left corporate in June 2016.
What is the Juggle to your Hustle?
Lone mum with two princes.
Tell me more about your business?
I help mompreneurs, Coaches, Consultants, Entrepreneurs and hobbyists to: • Transferring their knowledge into content, courses, programs, and also membership site creation • Help creative people who are not tech savvy to the build systems that support business goals • Help those who are desperate to leave their 9 – 5 job transition their skills from corporate to Coaching and Consultancy and ready to build a business model and framework to support their goals.
What is your Hustle and Juggle story?
I completed all content for 2017 and early 2018, by 3 weeks of focus during December 16. I learned the true meaning of being the only ‘asset’ in my Business in 2016 and I really learned this lesson. I repurposed content and captured all of my Facebook Posts for 2016 and re-purposed them to create blogs, cheat-sheets, resources, and training’s. I also organised over 30 interviews covering a range of topics over the Christmas holidays and early January. Carrying out interviews on Zoom for audio for a Podcast using the transcription for articles, blog and social media posts. I did this juggling my boys over Christmas with a routine of a thumbs up to my 7 year old when recording was finished. I have learned to involve him in the process. I arranged most interviews from 5am 10am and between 8.30pm – 1am to accommodate the holidays. This allowed me to effectively create the bulk content for 2017 up to 2018. Providing me some relief and really allowing me just to package and add graphics and schedule on a monthly basis. This has been an extremely tiring process but will allow me to give real value and increase my visibility with content syndication.
What’s your message to anyone reading this to inspire them to keep going and remain visible?
Stop complaining about what has not worked for you and set a reflective task of lessons learned. Aim to focus on the skill-set you need to improve and then seek the appropriate mentors to assist to move you forward. When choosing mentors I focused on areas where I needed to grow ! Previous lessons have taught me to:
- Seek mentors
- Own previous mistakes and any failures as feedback at your current level of knowledge, education and skills
- To be perfectly imperfect – Start where you are and with what you have
- Watch your focus – have TUNNEL VISION with your GOALS
- Try, try, try, try until you succeed
- Take time away from distractions and restoration
- Face your fears
- Build a team and delegate
- Health is truly wealth
- The need for automation in your business
- Not everyone deserves access to you, or your attention
- The need to truly love yourself for what you have already achieved
- Pay much less attention to the opinion of others
