How long have you been doing the Hustle and Juggle?

A a year or so.

What is the Juggle to your Hustle?

Running a busy growing estate and letting agency business with hubby whilst raising a nine year old with a zillion clubs. To add to it am now pregnant with number 2!

Tell me more about your business?

I run an estate and letting agency with my husband Scott. Our focus is customer service all the way and everything we do is focused on customer satisfaction. Most of our business comes from referrals and our feedback has only every been 5 star because we genuinely deliver on our promises. Going above and beyond in customer service, keeping our fees reasonable and being contactable 24/7 have all helped us to build a fantastic reputation that seems to keep spreading. We are known for our sincerity, a rarity in this industry and we are very proud of that.

What is your Hustle and Juggle story?

My biggest Hustle and Juggle has to be when a sale collapsed whilst we were on a much needed holiday in Spain. Long story short, Brexit happened and a buyer at the bottom of the chain pulled out leaving my poor vendor (recommended by Dee in fact) all set to lose her purchase. From Spain I relaunched our marketing, called our database and had viewings taking place immediately all whilst negotiating with the agent above kept our place in the chain. We quickly had a buyer, at £8k more than previously achieved and to really ensure we kept the chain complete I persuaded our new buyer to take over the old buyers conveyancing thus saving the old buyer money on abortive fees and the whole chain lots of time. We completed very quickly soon after. Calming down a very distressed vendor, negotiating with buyers, solicitors and agents on a phone from sunny Spain wasn’t the easiest thing in the world and had me almost booking a flight at times and giving up on the idea of a break altogether but it came together and I know my vendor was over the moon with me dropping my holiday to save her sale. We were on holiday with family and they were less than impressed with my breakdowns and zillion phone calls but that’s the price you pay I guess for great customer service 🙂

What’s your message to anyone reading this to inspire them to keep going and remain visible?

I sometimes feel like I work 25 hours a day and in the early days I genuinely did wonder if it was worth it. Our efforts and our enthusiasm is clear to our clients but getting that message out to potential clients seemed to be impossible. Three years on we receive word of mouth referrals all of the time and have made friends out of clients all over the place, such is the depth of the relationship we find ourselves in during our transaction. Hard work, honesty and intregrity always pays off and as long as you don’t cut corners and stay true to your idea of what you want to offer your business will deliver: stay focused.
