Hustle and Juggle with Jo Love
How long have you been doing the Hustle and Juggle?
I incorporated the company in July 2016 and will launch May 2017
What is the Juggle to your Hustle?
I often say motherhood made me lose my mind, but find my soul! I’ve been battling postnatal depression since the birth of my daughter in 2015. It’s been a hard journey, but one I’ve found has really helped shape and define the business and its overall purpose. Lobella Loves will be so much more than an online marketplace. I’m so proud to donate part of our commission from every single sale to charities helping support mothers and families who are suffering. Lobella Loves is passionate about breaking the taboo attached to mental health issues suffered by mothers and aims to raise awareness, fight the stigma and help provide support to those in need. The idea being, it really is cool to be kind.
Tell me more about your business?
Launching in May 2017 Lobella Loves is the new, enchanting UK online destination for the most exciting and coveted brands for babies and toddlers with charitable donations on every sale.
Showcasing a beautiful, handpicked edit of brands Lobella Loves gives the gift of time back to busy mums who are uninspired by ordinary baby and toddler products, and tired of browsing the internet for special gifts.
I found myself frustrated and exhausted trawling the internet for lovingly made, stylish gifts for my daughter. I wanted my little one to be surrounded by beautiful and timeless treasures that would fuel her imagination and spark her intrigue however the process of finding them was time consuming and energy draining. As a result Lobella Loves was born bringing together a captivating trove of treasures for little people in one inspiring and convenient destination.
Lobella Loves customers can shop a curated collection of their favourite baby and toddler brands ranging from clothing, toys and party accessories to beautiful nursery essentials and gifts for both mum and baby. The growing collection of brands includes stunning childrenswear from Lala + Zizo, Bimble Shoes and Panda and Ping, inspiring nursery décor from Mini Maison and Ciao Bambino to stylish parenting essentials from Bo and Bel and Kerikit to name a few.
What is your Hustle and Juggle story?
Oh there are far too many of these to count. A real moment of parent-fail was when I came out of a really important business meeting, looked down and realised I had an enormous weetabix smear across my chest from my daughter’s breakfast in plain site – everyone had been clearly far too polite and professional to mention it!
What’s your message to anyone reading this to inspire them to keep going and remain visible?
The hardest but most rewarding step you’ll ever take is to trust completely in who you are and what you want to achieve.
