Go For Gold With Organic Reach!

Every week we hear of more Facebook changes, you can either love or hate them but Facebook is here to stay and there is no denying that it is a great social media platform to reach your target audience either organically, through paid targeted advertising or via influencers.

One of the changes we hear of frequently is that organic reach is on the decline.  You can either ignore this information and carry on as you are, sob into your pillow and decide to shut down your page or you can embrace the changes and adjust to make the changes work for you. Which one will it be?

Now more than ever it’s important that you ensure that the about section on your Facebook business page is fully completed:

– Who you are

– What you do

– What problem you solve

– Who do you serve (who is your ideal client / customer)

– Your company story

– Contact information

– Website details

Fill in everything – no excuses!!!

The reason I say this is organic reach on outbound links (especially salesy ones) and promotional posts will be decreased even more.  So it’s important that when a follower or someone new lands on your page and likes (actually let’s say loves) what they initially see and delves a little further (ie your about section) they find ALL the information they need to turn into a potential buyer or a loyal follower, first impressions count.

In regards to your posts going forward your concentration should be around providing valuable content (less sales) utilising images, video and lives.  Put your clients boots on, think about what they will want to see from you? What will get them to engage with your posts? What will get an emotional reaction as opposed to a “like” what’s going to make them give you a love? And not that you want to (I hope) but what will make them angry? whats going to make them laugh or even sad? this is what Facebook want you to aim for more so than ever before, meaningful engagement, going that extra mile.  You will also be hitting the jackpot with shares and comments and if you get comments Facebook would really like you to show your followers that you really care so do ensure you either comment or engage with an emotional reaction, giving them love ❤️, a ha ha 😂or a wow 😮 etc

So are you going to go that extra mile and go for gold to ensure meaningful engagement, to keep up your organic reach for your Facebook business page?
