6 Ways That Helps Keep Me Confident

We all have periods of doubt and days where we just feel bleugh, it happens to us all. So I’m sharing with you 6 ways that helps keep me confident and showing up in business #hustleandjuggle – Justle!!!
1. Remember your WHY
I know its cliche but I always visit “WHY” I do what I do and there are 3 main factors – I absolutely love Social Media, Networking and the opportunities they can create, I love nothing more than helping people succeed, gaining confidence and holding them accountable in reaching their goals, last but not least I love working and I love that what I do allows me to be around for my children. I hope that they can see we can all create opportunities for ourselves.
2. Acknowledge your ACHIEVEMENTS to date
I first started in business 7 years ago doing something completely different, I took a massive risk embarking in a journey or design and retail and whilst having my own brand of baby clothing is not my business now it helped me to get where I am now and I guess the feel the fear and do it attitude I had led me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to grow. I then took the parts of that business that I absolutely loved and thrived at and I now get to share that knowledge with others.
3. Celebrate all you WINS big or small
Always celebrate big or small wins, whatever you’ve a achieved, give yourself a pat on the back. Even when I sell one of my Justle mugs I still do a little happy dance inside.
4.Spend time with those LIGHT YOU UP
I have a tight group of what I call “Human Radiators” those that lift me up when I need it, it’s a very small group of business buddies that I can rely on to tell me the truth whether it’s what I want to hear or not. One of those is a bit close to home my husband ha ha, I can never get away!!! But honestly it’s great having his full support and the fact that he questions my ideas is even better. The other thing I will be making sure to make an effort to do more of is to spend more time with my non business friends, it’s easy to get carried away talking all things business but you need a break from it too and my lovely friends and sister are the perfect people to do that with.
5.Ask for HELP
The best thing I ever did was hire a mentor in 2015 to help gain clarity in areas of my business where I needed help, having an outsider looking in at the areas that aren’t your strongest point can be a game changer. I still continue to strive for both personal and business development by attending a monthly business club, watching webinars and reading. One thing I would suggest is to concentrate on learning from one or two people, don’t confuse yourself by signing up to anything and everything especially “freebies”, find that person that really resonates with you.
6.Dress UP
I’m a firm believer in always making an effort with your appearance no matter how you feel, there really is a difference to how you attack your business to be visible if you are sat in your home office in your PJ’s or if you are dressed to work, you can help yourself feel more confident by making an effort even if no one is going to see you. Don’t get me wrong if you feel good working in your home office in your PJ’s then go for it…..I’m sure it’s comfortable actually!!!
So that’s it from me, what do you do to help keep you confident? or is this something you struggle with?
Love, Dee
