5 More ways to authentically increase your visibility on a shoe string budget.

Following on from feedback on my post 7 Ways to authentically increase your visibility on a shoe string budget and how helpful people found it here’s a reminder of 5 other ways to help create the right visibility to attract the right clients / customers you want on a budget.

1. Testimonials
Ask you clients for testimonials that you can use on your website and social media platforms.  I’m not saying you should share these everyday no one likes those that brag but there is nothing wrong with being proud of what you do and it’s great to show others what people are saying about you.

2. Competitions
Run a competition on one of your social media platforms ensuring the prize is relevant to your business / offering.  Please make sure that you adhere to the competition rules of the platform you are running it on.  Have a clear focus in mind – yes ultimately you would like to attract new clients /customers but alongside the competition are you wanting more email subscribers? There are many tools you can use to collect email entrants (research ones that are right for you and your budget), or if you would like more followers to your platform do keep entry level simple and engaging – a simple question to answer by commenting on the posting gently guiding your follower to retweet, repost or share (again check out the rules of the platform you are using).

Even though you may be running your competition on Facebook you should still promote it on your other platforms guiding your followers over to your Facebook page etc

3. Industry Awards
Enter to receive an industry award nomination, these are a great way once nominated to shout and scream about your service / products and to get people to vote for you.  If you win (or even get nominated) it will be a great confidence boost for you and you will also be able to use any winner / nomination badges on your website, social media platforms and any printed marketing material you may have.

4. Create a Freebie
Share your knowledge and expertise by creating a download packed with value and information of interest for potential clients, you can create a downloadable pdf using Canva amongst other tools, take a peak at mine here: 7 Ways to Hustle & Juggle, be More Visible and Get More Clients.

5. Leaflets
I know of many businesses to invest in having leaflets printed only to do nothing with them.  If you have them USE THEM, make sure they are up on notice boards or visible where your target audience hangs out.

So there you go another 5 ways to authentically create visibility on a shoe string budget, so my question to you again is what will you do to increase your visibility today?
